From 2007 to 2018, theARTer Gallery was one of the absolute cult locations in Berlin. TIP magazine once described it as probably the most interesting and important location in independent off-culture. Completely black, Rock Hard once described it as the world's first metal gallery.

Many artists from the gothic and metal scene were exhibited here, such as: B. Daniel “Fuchs” Täumel (the singer of Die Apokalyptischen Reiter) or Oscar winner H.R. Giger (who created the design for the "Alien" films).

Later, very special metal and gothic acoustic shows, readings, rock talk shows, etc. were held here. Guests were e.g. E.g. Lord Of The Lost, Orphaned Land, Die Apokalyptischen Reiter, Coppelius, Letzte Instance, Antimatter and many more.
